Dr. Jon Blauw, PhD

Dr. Jon Blauw, PhD

Director at Inspire Rehab Center

  • US trained licensed clinical psychologist
  • Part-Time Faculty at the Graduate School of Psychology of Assumption University
  • 25 years clinical experience.
Dr. Blauw has experience working in the substance abuse treatment field in both the United States and Thailand. He has worked in hospital and clinical environments, applying different treatments with a wide range of clients, including Smart Recovery, and the 12 step model, as well as hospital dual diagnosis settings. Dr. Blauw is a strong believer in working with the individual in their existing condition and building strategies for where they will be in the future.

Eric, educated and trained in the United States, holds BA degrees in Psychology and German, Master’s degrees in International Studies, as well as Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling. Eric is currently a PhD candidate in Counseling Psychology at ABAC University in Bangkok. This means he has completed all of his classes for a doctorate degree and is currently completing his dissertation. Eric has over 14 years of experience in addiction and mental health treatment. He uses a person-centered approach, relying on proven, fundamental therapeutic techniques like motivational interviewing, CBT, and advocating the use of self-help groups.

  • Sandy is presently completing a MS in Counseling Psychology. She has completed all coursework/training and is presently completing her research on Experience of LGBT Parents and Strategies in raising children in Thai society.

    Counseling areas with Adults and Adolescence : Workplace stress, Relationships issues, Depression and Anxiety, Alcohol & Substance Abuse, Bullying and Self – Esteem issues, Adjustment and Life Transition and LGBT. Approaches used are Client- Centered approach, Motivational Therapy and Expressive ART therapy.

    Counseling and Interventions for Children with Developmental delays particularly with Autism (ASD) and high functioning Autism (HFA) – focusing on Early Interventions in the areas of Cognitive skills (Reasoning and Organizational), Communication skills (PECS), Social Skills, Emotional Literacy, Mind – Reading training, Behavioral Intervention. Approached used are ABA, Play and Expressive ART therapy.

    Chase Conrad is a Counseling Psychologist from the United States specializing in individual, group, and addictions psychology.  He is currently completing his dissertation associated with a  Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from  Assumption University in Bangkok.

    Chase completed his undergraduate work with a degree in business administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, and then from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a Masters Degree in Psychology Counseling in 2012.
